Paint My Pooch - £35
​
This fun portrait session uses simple trace and transfer techniques to get a pic of your pet on to canvas then we’ll explore ways to paint in acrylic to create a personal pet portrait.
From flat colours for a modern graphic look to loose sketchy and just a little but scruffy ways to capture hairy pets, the aim is to have fun and get a bit of character on to canvas.
This is a great all-levels class and beginners are very welcome.
An intro on how to use the paint and basic colour-mixing is included, and we supply all paints and canvases.
Please email the photo you’d like to paint from in advance so we can do a bit of prep for you.

Mini Art Foundation 2: Drawing into Painting - £105
​
A follow up to our popular Mini Art Foundation, this 4-week course is suitable for anyone who has done some of the basics and would like to take their art further.
The course teaches good solid skills that you use to create your own art and small groups allow for a fun and friendly environment with lots of support.
All materials supplied – and chocolate!

Week 1 – Drawing a seasonal still life. We’ll recap on measuring, tone and mark- making using a variety of drawing mediums including charcoal and pencil.
Week 2 – Moving into colour. Basics of colour theory and how to use it effectively plus create a portrait using coloured pencil and watercolour.
Week 3 – Starting a painting. Tips on composition, planning, drawing out and creating an underpainting in acrylics.
Week 4 – Build your painting to completion.
