Art Classes
Mini Art Foundation - £115
​
We’ve revamped our popular Mini Art Foundation with a fresh new look to suit all levels. Whether you’re a complete beginner or you’re experienced and want to extend your skills, this one’s for you! Small classes allow for plenty of one-to-one guidance and all materials and refreshments are provided.
Week 1: Drawing
We look at line, shading and tone and experiment with pencil and charcoal and the exciting marks we can make with both to create a seasonal still life.
Week 2: Portraits
Working from photos (supplied) we look at proportions and what makes a likeness. This is a fun and lively session with the chance to draw a self-portrait
from life if you wish.
Week 3: Colour
Out come the acrylic paints and we’ll look at how to mix colours. We’ll
cover some basic colour theory and paint some simple objects. There is plenty of time to get to know the paint if it’s new to you or you can dive deeper into tone if you want more.
Week 4: Painting
Bringing together everything learned over the past 3 sessions we end with a drawing or painting of your choice.​​

Paint a Landscape - £35
​
From rolling fields to the waves of the ocean, this fun and experimental class explores the beauty of the world around us. We’ll work with easy-to-use water-based acrylics to paint, splodge, drip and spatter our way to beautiful landscape paintings on canvas.
Bring along a favourite photo or work from one of our gorgeous reference photos. We provide all the painting materials and offer a step by step approach to working with colour and composition to create paintings ready to hang on the wall.
Our small group classes are friendly and supportive and beginners are always welcome.

Cancellations between 25-72 hours before the event may be transferred to a different date/time of a workshop.
